Having had the pleasure working with Terry in the North Qld Mining industry for a period of time, I found his work ethics to be extraordinary, his employees respected him with his genuine caring nature, listening and solving many difficult solutions from dealing with clients, machinery issues, personalities of work colleagues. Always prepared to show leadership with landowners, indigenous respect and working with suppliers to achieve the ultimate goal extracting gold with the least problematic budget and on time.
Terry’s company initially was as a consultant on the development of 3 gold mines, within the Kangaroo Hills (nth Qld) vicinity showing the client the way forward with his environmental consciousness and when production of gold was in full swing showed due diligence on the latest methodology of extracting within budgets necessary to continue mining successfully.
On the initial investigation Terry proved to be essential in cleaning up the area of damaging arsenic contamination and was therefore given total respect by the Qld Government mining division and proving the dedication plus understanding requirements of the area being left in a far healthier state and it was.
Terry is a man of his word and incredible honour. I have maintained my friendship throughout the past 10 years as many of Terry’s previous employees have due to mutual respect and his dedication to the mining industry and our environment.
